بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ * اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ* لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ* وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ﴾. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ﴿قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ* مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ* وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ* وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ* وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ﴾. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ﴿قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ* مَلِكِ النَّاسِ* إِلَهِ النَّاسِ* مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ* الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ* مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَ النَّاسِ﴾
Hisn al-Muslim 99
Translation
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. 112:1 Say: He is Allah, the One. 112:2 Allah, the One on whom all depend. 112:3 He neither begets nor was born. 112:4 Nothing is comparable to Him. In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. 113:1 Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, 113:2 from the evil of what He created, 113:3 from the evil of darkness when it settles, 113:4 from the evil of those who blow upon knots, 113:5 and from the evil of an envier when he envies. In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. 114:1 Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind, 114:2 the King of humankind, 114:3 the God of humankind, 114:4 from the evil of the retreating whisperer, 114:5 who whispers into people’s hearts, 114:6 whether from the jinn or humankind.
Reflection
When retiring to his bed every night, the Prophet would hold his palms together, spit A form of spitting comprising mainly of air with little spittle in them, recite the last three chapters Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas of the Quran and then wipe over his entire body as much as possible with his hands, beginning with his head and face and then all parts of the body, he would do this three times.
